I used to hate on the 3:1 PU/Dip sub for muscle-ups. However, having done ring dips, they seem equal to 3 dips in terms of how fast I can get them done. If I had done 9 per round here, I never would have finished.
Last time, we did 4 sets of 9 (subbing 95# and 2x dips) and I got 12:28. The time before, I went 16:13 on regular reps (subbing 95# and 2x dips). So, I feel pretty good with the time considering I moved up 20# on the cleans. I got low on those guys, and I've been feeling it with all the subsequent rowing.
