For good measure, I did some dumbbell bench press.
45# x 8, 60# x 8, 70# x 6, 80# x 3(fail on 4)
I have lost a lot on this exercise (previous PR was 315), but this coincides with my weight loss as well as the fact that I missed the last deadlifts and CrossFit total during hiking trips.
I have now been working on increasing my protein intake to 170g or more per day for 4 days. I plan to try this for a month (with the theory being that eating more to increase protein should automatically increase my calorie intake). I am going to shoot for 2 - 4 pounds of weight gain per month. If I haven't gained at least 2# by next month, then I will start monitoring calories as well.
