I consistently underestimate WODs, even after having CrossFitted for 14 montsh. I really didn't think this would be as bad as people seemed to be making out to be on the main and BrandX sites. It was.
39:11 (pack scaled; subbed 205# for deadlift, 55# dumbbell swings, 95# overhead squat, 35# squat cleans)
Avg.HR=178; Calories=750!
This was the first ever WOD that's elicited a 5.0 training effect on my heart rate monitor. Even the 10K was only a 4.6. The overhead squats ruined me. I will do 75# next time. I spent over 5 minutes on them, and they destroyed most of my squatting ability for exercises later on (e.g. dumbbell squat cleans).
