Subbed 2:1 single-unders for double-unders.
8:10 unbroken (This was only 36 seconds slower than last time, when I subbed 1:1)
I'm going for 3:1 next time. I'm starting to get the rhythm down on the jump rope. I'm going to work on stepping rope next. If I can get the stepping down, I'll have the hand-eye coordination to work on the double-unders. I still can't even do one--I just don't have the coordination to speed up the rope correctly. Help me Buddy Lee!
Also, CrossFit must be treating me well. The manager of Gold's asked me if I was interested in getting certified as a personal trainer and training for them today. I wanted to say, "Yeah, right. I'll just go flush my PhD down the toilet and quit law school to be a personal trainer. I can really support myself with that in DC." Then, I remembered that the CrossFit trainer who used to work there previously went to American for law school. I went with the excuse of not having enough time.
