 12-13-2009 Row & Turkish Get-Ups

Complete as many rounds as you can in twenty minutes of:
Row 500 meters
25 Turkish Get-ups with a 60-pound dumbbell

Post rounds and fractions of rounds completed

500m row
TGU with 45#

2 rds + 500m row

This is the first time I have ever done TGU. warmed up with 20#s for a while then started in. I did five with each hand then alternated. It is a lot harder than it looks.

2 rounds in 18:48 (Subbed 20# dumbbell)

Avg. HR=169, Calories=318

Not easy. Might move up to 25# or 30# next time, but wanted to get in at least two rounds.
