 09-23-2009 Bench, Pull-ups & Squats

Five rounds for max reps of:
Body weight bench press
Pull-ups
Body weight back squat

Post reps for all three exercises in all rounds

Compare to 09-10-2008

Body Weight = 175#, Body Weight Last Time=170# (only bench and pull-ups last time)
Bench = 8(PR by 1 rep)+7+6+5+5 = 31(PR by 2 reps)
Pull-ups = 17(PR by 1 rep)+16+14+12+12 = 71(PR by 6 reps)
Squats = 12+9+7+6+5 =39

I scaled it to around 75% body weight, I'm a big dude.


225# for bench and squats, 45# resistance for pullups

bench 8-8-6-5-5
pullups 6-6-6-6-5
squat 6-6-6-6-7

weighed in at 178#, used 185# for bench & squats

bench 12-9-7-7-7 = 42
pull-ups 15-14-12-11-10 = 62 (PR)
squat 13-12-10-10-8 = 53

Weighed 183# used 185#

bench 7-7-6-6-6 = 32 (Sad face) This doesn't even deserve an emoticon
pull-ups 23-19-16-17-15 = 90
squat 13-15-14-10-10 = 62

This was a really tough one for me all the way around.

Body weight:202
BP(135#): 12 - 10 - 10 - 8 - 6 = 46
PU(70#assist): 16 - 14 - 12 - 11 - 9 = 62
SQ(135#): 19 - 17 - 12 - 12 - 5 = 65

That hurt. Squats were bad. I kept feeling pukey in the middle of my squat set so I would stop even though I could have gotten a few more.
